Backup My Phone For Blackberry 10 help

Thank You for installing Backup My Phone.In this help page we will tell you how to configure Backup and Resore in 3 easy steps.It is faster,accurate and works without any connection problems.

Help Content :

 

Right click on tray icon of Backup My Phone and click "Backup My Phone"

Step 1 : You will get the window as shown below.Now you have to connect your Blackberry 10 device to your computer using the cable.Once the cable is connected,make sure that the Y drive and Z drive are detected.If you do not have a SD Card in the device,only Z drive will be shown.

 

 

Step 2 : Now open the Backup My Phone Client on the Blackberry 10 device and click on the Button Named "Configure Wired Connection". Below screen will be displayed :

 

 

Step 3 : Now click on Next button.If everything goes fine,you will get the Screen below.Click on Next.

 

Note : In case no drive is detected or client is not configured,the Next button will be disabled.Also,error message will be displayed.In such cases,please make the drives available,configure the client and hit Refresh button.

Step 4 : Now in the next screen you will get the screen displaying what to be backed up and where to be backed up.

It displays two sections.One is Phone Memory and the Second one is SD card.Check the checkboxes for the folders you want to be recognized for Backup.

You need to specify a folder location on your PC where the Backup files will be saved from the Phone.Click on the browse button and select the folder.

At last,make sure the last checkbox is checked.("Backup Automatically when i connect my device.").If you do not want to Backup automatically,uncheck this box.If auto backup is diabled,manual backup could be done by Right Clicking on the tray icon and selecting "Backup My Phone"

Make the necessary settings and hit the button "Save Settings".

Now Right Click on the tray icon and select "Backup My Phone". Below screen will be displayed :

 

The Backup will start.That's it !!

 

In case Auto Backup is enabled,below will be shown when the Blackberry 10 mobile is connected :

 

Restoring the Content back on Phone :

Step 1 :

To restore the contents back on phone,right click on the tray icon and then click on Restore My Phone in the menu.You will get the screen below :

 

Step 2: Now click on Next button.If everything goes fine,you will get the Screen below.Click on Next.

 

Step 3: Select the folders that you want to be restored.and click on "Restore Now" button.

Below screen will be displayed :
